Meet Luna, your personal Assistant by Stase AI

Why Stase

How Stase differs from general-purpose AI chatbots

Stase is built specifically for medical students, physicians and Faculty of Medicine lecturers in Indonesia.

  • Sources you can check

Clinical answers refer to the PNPK and other official guidelines, including the KMK (Ministry of Health decree) number and page where available. Every DOI and PMID is checked against Crossref and PubMed and marked as verified, not found, or unverifiable.

  • Memory under your control

Stase keeps what matters about you in three memory drawers: Core, Stories and Learning. You can view, edit or delete every memory card. If you prefer nothing to be remembered, use a chat without memory.

  • Grounded in the Indonesian context

Stase understands the Indonesian medical curriculum, the 2026 Indonesian physician competency standards (SKD 2026), local terms such as stase (clinical rotation) and koas (clinical clerkship), and referral pathways from primary care facilities (FKTP). It answers in Indonesian by default, or in English when you write in English.

  • Remaining credits always visible

Daily and period credit meters are always shown on the chat screen, and you are notified when usage reaches 80%. Stase always asks for your approval before generating an image.

  • Study from your own material

Upload slides, PDFs, Word documents or photos of your notes. Stase reads the text and images on every page and cites the source page or slide in its summaries and practice questions.

  • Hints first, not answers straight away

For preclinical students, the Clinical Tutor and Exam Practice modes give graded hints so that you genuinely understand the material. If you ask for the answer directly, Stase still provides it.

Six modes

Choose the mode that fits your current task

The default mode follows your role, but every mode is available to everyone, and each session can use a different mode.

  • Clinical Tutor

Step-by-step case discussion through to management; clerks can also request viva-style review and short questions on their current rotation.

  • Exam Practice

Practice questions with worked explanations, with your progress recorded.

  • Editorial Mode

Journal clubs, literature reviews (referat), presentations, literature searches and drafting research articles.

  • Evidence Review

Check current management, investigations and guidelines, with citations.

  • Teaching Assistant

Block syllabi (RPS), PBL scenarios, exam questions and OSCE rubrics, assignment marking, manuscript supervision, grant proposals and academic administration.

  • General

Ask anything, including matters outside your studies.

For preclinical students

A study plan through to examination day

Enter the examination date and upload the block material. Stase builds a daily plan that adapts to the days remaining. If the examination is tomorrow, you get a crash plan focused on your weakest topics.

  1. Add an examination

A block examination, mid-block examination, practical examination or OSCE, with its date and target score.

  2. Upload your material

The plan is built from your own slides and notes, not from random material.

  3. Initial diagnostic

Rate your own understanding (never studied, read before, understood), then answer 3–5 questions as a baseline.

  4. Track your progress

See mastery by topic, target against attainment, and the days remaining. Stase does not predict your examination score.

Upload and create files

Stase reads your material and can produce slides, documents or images

  • Photos, PDF, PowerPoint, Word

Images on slides and pages are read too, such as histology slides or ECGs in lecture material. Up to 100 pages or slides per file.

  • Create PowerPoint and Word files

Outlines become .pptx files and drafts become .docx files using the Stase template. Only you can download the file, for 3 days.

  • Create and edit images

Illustrations for study or presentations. The estimated credits are shown first, and the image is generated only after you approve.

  • Flow diagrams

Management algorithms and differential diagnosis pathways as clear diagrams that are easy to check.

  • Vancouver citations

Format reference lists in the Vancouver style, with PMIDs or DOIs checked against their sources.

  • Web, Telegram, Discord

Install Stase on your phone's home screen, or ask quick questions through the Telegram and Discord bots with the same account and credits.

Frequently asked questions

FAQ

What is Stase?

Stase is an AI assistant for medical students, clinical clerks, residents, physicians and Faculty of Medicine lecturers. It remembers your profile and study progress, answers with reference to guidelines and verified citations, reads slides, PDFs, Word documents and photos, and can create PowerPoint files, Word documents and images.

What are credits?

Credits are a usage limit for each 30-day subscription period, not a purchased balance. Each action uses credits according to its cost: chat, web search, images, reading files, and background processes such as summarising memories. The daily limit is 20% of the period's credits and resets every day at 00:00 WIB (UTC+7).

Does the subscription renew automatically?

No. You pay for 30 days at a time with QRIS, and we send email reminders three days before and on the day the period ends. If you pay before the period ends, the new period starts when the current one ends.

Can I request a refund?

Payments are final: amounts already paid cannot be refunded (no refunds), including when credits remain unused at the end of the period.

Who can read my chats?

Stase staff cannot read your chats, memories or images, except messages that you report with the “Report incorrect answer” button. Messages are processed by OpenAI (AI model) and Exa (web search) in the United States.

How long is my data kept?

Transcripts, images and attachments are deleted automatically 30 days after your last activity. Session summaries and memory cards are kept until you delete them. You can export your data and delete your account yourself from the settings page.

Are Stase's answers always correct?

No. AI can make mistakes. Check the cited sources and official guidelines, and discuss them with your supervisor. Clinical decisions remain your responsibility. If you find an incorrect answer, report it so that the Stase team can review it.

May I ask Stase to complete assessed work for me?

Stase can help you study, draft outlines, check citations and give feedback. Work you submit must remain your own, so follow your institution's rules on the use of AI.

Can I use it on my phone, Telegram and Discord?

Yes. Stase can be installed on your phone's home screen like an app, and Telegram and Discord bots use the same account and credits. Payments are made only on the stase.co website.

What is the minimum age to register?

18 years. Users aged 17 who have permission from a parent or guardian are placed on a waiting list first. Registration is not available to anyone under 17.
